You use magnesium hydroxide, a level teaspoon in 80 precent of the liter bottle that came with the soda machine, shake 30 seconds and put in frig, the 30 minutes later shake again and back in the fridge. That's it. Milk of Magnesium has magnesium hydroxide in it.

My mind came to magnesium bicarbonate as a super safe option. Combining bicarbonate benefits with magnesium.
Lord knows most of us get enough salt ( I recommend unrefined not processed salt to patients)
- best of both worlds since most patients RBC mag is under 5.5….
- mag bicarbonate does both, alkalinize and provide Mg
Majority of pts already very receptive to magnesium recommendation.
